Year-end, Advent and Christmas Giving I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in the darkness but will have the light of life. - John 8:12
Dear Saint William Parishioner,
God bless you! Can you believe the year is already coming to a close? While this year seems to have flown by, we have shared in so many blessings in 2022:
• We have our education building back, which allows us to serve the over 900
students in faith formation, and many of our ministries have returned, are
continuing to grow and actively serving in our parish.
• We experienced the excitement of hosting our 3-day Big Event in the spring,
which brought many of our parishioners and Round Rock community to our
beautiful campus for fellowship.
• We have the blessing of our three sisters from the Servants of the Pierced
Hearts of Jesus and Mary, who have their mission with us, and are doing great
work.
• One of my greatest joys of the year was the return of Perpetual Eucharistic
Adoration in our Sacred Heart Chapel.
These are just a few of the many incredible graces that God has allowed at Saint William in 2022, and none of them could have been accomplished without you.
Your commitment and generosity to our parish are inspiring! Your support allows us to grow our mission of healing and service within our parish community and beyond. Building a culture of encounter with our Risen Lord takes all of us working together and sharing the many gifts that God has bestowed upon us. We simply cannot do this work alone. For this reason, I invite you to join me in our year-end challenge of which our goal is $200,000. Our parish, like many of you, is experiencing the economic challenges of our time. Yet, just as our community responded and provided for our parish during the difficulties of the pandemic, I am confident we can rise to the challenge and achieve this year-end goal together.
Please prayerfully consider a financial gift of $100. This gift will not only help us overcome our deficit, but, more importantly, allow us to continue building a culture of encounter for our Saint William community through our sacred liturgies, faith formation and ministry life.
I am profoundly grateful for your unyielding commitment to the parish and look forward with eagerness to our year ahead together. Thank you for taking part and helping Saint William continue to be a guiding light for so many. Please know that Fr. Juan Diego, Fr. Kyle, Msgr. Louis, and I are praying for you and your loved ones during this Advent and Christmas season.
Ad Jesum per Mariam,
Fr. Francisco Rodriguez III
Pastor
