This is for groups of ten or more coming during regular school hours. There are two tracks available to choose from: (1) Elementary and (2) Middle/High School.
(1) Elementary Field Trip Track: Students will receive a stampable passport and be assigned to one of the Interactive Eucharistic Miracle Stations. Approximately every twenty minutes, students will rotate through six of the stations plus a bring your own snack break. At each station, a storyteller will share the Eucharistic Miracle in child friendly language to encourage the children to feel “Eucharistic wonder and awe.” Each miracle station will also have a visual display, audience participation play, or interactive display to draw children into the cornerstone of our Catholic faith – Jesus’ True Presence in the Eucharist. There will be an activity sheet or project matching each miracle. These can be done at the station or taken back to school depending on the timing of the individual station. Keeping the age of the children in mind, the miracles in these nine Interactive Eucharistic Miracle Stations are non-blood related so that no child will become worried of the Eucharist turning into blood/flesh when they receive Jesus.
(2) Middle/High School Field Trip Track: Students will gather in the auditorium to listen to a presentation comparing five Eucharistic miracles spanning the centuries. After the talk, students will explore thirty-five Eucharistic miracles on large panels from Blessed Carlos Acutis’ Eucharistic Miracles of the World Exhibit. Students will also complete a Eucharistic Miracle Scavenger Hunt based on these thirty-five miracles to encourage a deeper connection to these miracles which highlight Jesus’ True Presence in the Eucharist. Students can tour an additional room set up with visual displays based on the five miracles shared in the starting presentation. Students will receive a stampable passport covering these thirty-five miracles. These miracles do include some miracles where the Eucharist turned into actual Flesh and the wine, actual Blood.
